COLD ROLLING MILL FOR STAINLESS STEEL

PURPOSE: A reverse cold rolling mill for stainless steel is provided which improves actual yield by reducing amount of stainless steel to be discarded. CONSTITUTION: The cold rolling mill for stainless steel comprises a pay off reel(2) for supplying stainless steel coil to be cold rolled; a piling stand for supplying a leader strip(28) onto an extension line of the coil supplied from the pay off reel; a liftable and lowerable device(27) for transferring the leader strip to the piling stand; first welding machine(23) positioned in front of the piling stand to weld a top end of the stainless steel coil(5) supplied from the pay off reel to the leader strip; second welding machine(24) positioned in rear of the piling stand to weld a tail end of the cold rolling completed coil to the leader strip; and a rolling mill(1) positioned in rear of the second welding machine to perform reverse rolling.
