Device for cutting composite glass comprises: a table (2) for positioning composite glass slabs (17); a positioning bridge (11) for pushing and positioning the slabs on the table; and a composite glass cutting unit consisting of cutting tools for cutting or scribing the slabs. A gripping unit (14) is arranged on the positioning bridge in such a way that one slab can be grasped from each direction. Preferred Features: The gripping unit has a gripping device which rotates about a vertical axis on the table surface. Several gripping units are arranged on the positioning bridge.
