The apparatus for die-casting cage type electric rotors in vertical presses, comprises a first and a second rotary table (11,12) supporting a plurality of bottom die members (14), and a corresponding plurality of injection units (13); the tables (11,12) are partially superimposed and are made to rotate in synchronism to sequentially align each bottom die member (14) and a corresponding injection unit (13) with an upper die member (17) in a metal injecting workstation. Each injection unit (13) comprises a sleeve (19) and a plunger (20) which are engageable and disengageable respective control cylinders and gripping members in correspondence with the metal injecting station and a biscuit removal station the injection sleeves (19) and the bottom die members (14) are movably supported by the rotary tables (11,12), to be rised and urged against a stack of laminations (P) of a rotor in the metal injection station of the press. <IMAGE> |
