PURPOSE: An auto selection driving apparatus and a method of a device capable of mounting various type of LCD modules are provided to supply a very good quality of function to the consumer without restriction of selecting initial component. CONSTITUTION: An auto selection driving apparatus of a device capable of mounting various type of LCD modules includes an LCD module(20), a controller(51) and a pair of LCD driving circuits(52,53). The controller(51) outputs the selection signal to select the adaptive LCD driving circuit by sensing the type of the LCD module(20). And, the pair of LCD driving circuits(52,53) drive the LCD module(20) by activating the LCD driving circuit adaptive to the LCD module(20) in response to the selection signal outputted from the controller(51).
