<p>The method is effected by a generator for hydrogen production and can be used in the chemical and the power industries, in metallurgy, aerological stations, in welding and missile technology. It ensures the low-pressure hydrogen production, does not pollute the environment and is safe in operation. The generator comprises a vessel (1) in which a reaction apparatus (8) is housed, made of heat resistant material, filled by a mixture of calcium hydroxide in the formed of slaked lime and residual non-oxidized aluminium shavings of 2-3 mm2 fractions in mass relation 2:1, tightly closed by a perforated bottom made of heat-resistant insulation elastic material. The reaction apparatus (8) is connected to a hydrogen gas supply line (12), getting across and connected to an upper air-tight cover (4) of the outer casing (2) of vessel (1), filled by sea water. Across the lower air-tight cover (5), connected to outer casing (2), the arms (10) of steam coil (11) maintaining temperature within 35 to 40 degrees C get through and are connected with it. To the outer casing (2) an inlet (13) and outlet (15) water pipeline are connected by means of stop cocks (14 & 16). 3 claims, 1 figure</p> |
