STRUCTURE FOR FIXING NOZZLE CUTTING BLADE IN TWIN ROLL STRIP CASTER

PURPOSE: A structure for fixing nozzle cutting blade in twin roll strip caster is provided to stably perform casting operation without damage of facility by installing the cutting blade on a fixed frame for connecting upper and lower nozzles to tundish in such a way that the cutting blade is smoothly reciprocated forward and backward. CONSTITUTION: In a twin roll strip caster comprising a cylindrical upper nozzle(13) an upper part of which is fixed to tundish (T); a lower nozzle(14) comprising a nozzle cover so that the upper nozzle is penetratingly arranged on the nozzle cover, and a nozzle main body so that discharge port(14c) is penetratingly formed on both sides of the nozzle main body; and a fixed frame for fixing the lower nozzle to a lower part of tundish so that a casting slab is casted by supplying molten steel of the tundish to a space between casting rolls, the structure(50) for fixing nozzle cutting blade in the twin roll strip caster comprises a housing(51) a front part of which is correspondingly arranged on an opening part formed on vertical plate at one side of the fixed frame, and into which guiding groove is sunk; a cutting blade assembled into the guiding groove in such a manner that the cutting blade is slidingly moved back and forth; and an operating member(55) a front part of rod of which is connected to the rear side of the cutting blade so that the cutting blade is reciprocated forward and backward to the upper nozzle side.
