PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to couple or separate a blower case and a filter case with respect to a main body like a drawer, thereby simplifying the exchange or cleaning thereof. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a lower case(20) mounted to the floor of a room, and an upper case(30) detachably mounted to the lower case and provided with air discharge holes for discharging purified air at least at a side part. The upper case has at least two mounting positions with respect to the lower case for changing the air discharge hole direction. A blower unit(50) is provided to the upper case for air circulation. A filter unit(40) has a filter case(41) detachably inserted into the lower case like a drawer and receiving a plurality of filters(44), wherein the filter unit separates and collects pollutants from the room air blown by the blower unit.
