The present invention comprises a clarification device by means of the coagulation-flocculation process, which promotes the floccules formation starting from water-suspended material. In general terms, the device is composed of an air feeding line, a suction compartment, flow ascending component, return conduct and flow outlet groove. The main advantages of this are the absence of iron-fittings or mobile parts which could prevent a continuous function; and the low energy consumption in relation to the one consumed in traditional clarification devices. The operation of this device is conditioned to the fact that once the coagulant material is added a mixture process begins which promotes the agglomeration of water-suspended material. The driving force that moves water is generated in the flow ascending component creating an ascending convective field in the device interior and a descending flow out of it. The induction of a return conduct has small gradient differences in the device in terior increasing the effective mix length, increasing also the efficiency in comparison with a single vertical conduct. Due to the device operation a self-cleaning mechanism is perform to the interior of it, which reduces the maintenance in regard to the commonly used systems. Finally, the device allows having a more regular gradient of speeds than other mechanical clarification devices which use pallets to perform the coagulant mix at a speed faster than 300 rpm and then reducing it up to 30 rpm. The latter, does not allow a gradual speed gradient stepping appearing intermediate cases of high gradients which is the most unfavorable case.
