METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY ELIMINATING NITROGEN AND PHOSPHORUS USING MICROORGANISMS

PURPOSE: To effectively eliminate nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater and stably maintain removal of phosphorus and nitrogen contained in wastewater by action of microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a screen (100) for removing miscellaneous materials having high volume and weight in wastewater; a bio-adsorption tank (200) for adsorbing organic matter of the miscellaneous material removed wastewater onto microorganisms; first settling chamber (300) for discharging the settled sludge to one side by settling sludge containing the organic matter adsorbed microorganisms; a phosphorus emission tank (400) for emitting phosphorus under the anaerobic condition by moving the settled sludge only; a nitrification tank (500) for changing ammonia nitrogen into nitrate-nitrogen using nitrifying microorganisms in wastewater that is not settled; second settling chamber (600) for disusing excess sludge by returning settled sludge containing nitrifying microorganisms to the nitrification tank again; a denitrifying tank (700) for changing nitrate-nitrogen into nitrogen gas through denitrifying microorganisms in wastewater containing nitrate-nitrogen; a phosphorus absorption tank (800) for excessively absorbing phosphorus emitted from the phosphorus emission tank using phosphorus accumulating microorganisms; and third settling chamber (900) for returning some of sludge to the bio-adsorption tank and discharging excess sludge to the outside by settling microbial sludge into which phosphorus is excessively absorbed.
