FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic lash adjuster consists of housing and spring-loaded sectional rod with shutoff valve in which conical spring is installed with smaller diameter pointed upwards. Ball valve is provided with diaphragm. Travel of rod in both directions if limited and fixed by locking in middle part of housing. Drain micrometric capillary hole is made in ball support of rod, and threaded stopper is installed. Oil feed hole is made in form of spherical-shaped slot. Ball support is made in form of spherical ball of diameter equal to or exceeding diameter of rod. ^ EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of valve mechanism, improved reliability, increased service life and cut down production and service expenses. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
