PURPOSE: A hybrid vehicle, a driving apparatus thereof, a hybrid four-wheel drive vehicle, and a control device thereof are provided to improve traveling stability by controlling the output of the generator to maintain torque of the generator without stall of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus of a hybrid vehicle is composed of a second generator(2) rotating by an engine(1) driving front and rear wheels(14,15), a motor(5) rotating by directly receiving output from the second generator and driving the other front or rear wheels, and a four-wheel driving control unit(6) controlling rotation of the second generator and the motor. The four-wheel driving control unit restricts the output of the second generator in detecting overload of the engine.
