PURPOSE: A method for mapping two-dimensional block of a multi-antenna system is provided to perform simply a symbol mapping process by controlling a transmitting method. CONSTITUTION: A method for mapping two-dimensional block of a multi-antenna system includes a process for receiving a space channel, a first decision process, a second decision process, and a two-dimensional block mapping process. The process for receiving a space channel is performed to receive a space channel characteristic for the number of transmission antennas of a transmitting end and the reception diversity(S420). The first decision process is performed to decide the number of effective space channels(S430). The second decision process is performed to decide the size of two-dimensional block and the number of transmission symbols(S440). The two-dimensional block mapping process is performed(S450).
