PURPOSE: A system for managing information of voice mail box clients in real time, and a method for controlling the same are provided to promptly process requests of clients received through a voice mail box. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station)(10) connects to a VMS(Voice Mail System)(40) through an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(30) by way of a BTS(Base station Transceiver)/BSC(Base Station Controller)(20). A user of the MS(10) registers client request data. The registered client request data and client information of the MS(10) are transmitted to a client information managing server(60) through a local area network(50) of a mobile communication service provider in real time. The client information managing server(60) updates the transmitted client request data and client information. The client information managing server(60) judges whether an internal computer for client consulting of the mobile communication service provider is connected to the client information managing server(60). If so, the internal computer confirms the client information of the client information managing server(60), inquires the client request data corresponding to the client information, and processes the inquired client request data. The internal computer transmits the result of processing client request data to an SMS(Short Message Service) server. The SMS server generates an SMS message to transmit the result to the MS(10). |
