ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH ELASTIC WAIST BAND HAVING PREFERRED RATIO OF ELASTIC TO NON-ELASTIC MATERIALS

PURPOSE: An absorbent article with an elastic waist band having a preferred ratio of elastic to non-elastic materials is provided to improve an wearability and to have no difficulties in pulling a panty type structure up and down. CONSTITUTION: The absorbent article(100) comprises a body part(10); an outer cover member(30) and a body side liner(28); an absorber structure(32); and an waist band part containing at least one elastomer part(34). The waist band part comprises a relaxed circumference, about 45 to 70% of the circumference is defined by the elastomer part and the waist band part has an elongated circumference for a predetermined wearer, wherein the elastomer part is stretched in a ratio of about 10 to 40% of the relaxed circumference.
