PURPOSE: A poll scheduling for a periodic traffic source is provided to poll a station according to a polling schedule generated to reduce delay between a time when the station puts a frame on a queue and a time when the station transmits the frame, thereby reducing a frame standby time. CONSTITUTION: A station transmits a polling request(510). The station puts one or more than one frame on a queue according to a specific temporary period and a temporary offset(520). The station receives a poll from an access point(530). The station transmits the frame put on the queue according to a proper protocol(540). The station returns to the step '520' to continue the procedure.
