PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling the rotation-driving of a forklift truck is provided to prevent the overturn of the forklift truck by automatically controlling the speed of the forklift truck. CONSTITUTION: A device and method for controlling the rotation-driving of a forklift truck is composed of an acceleration sensor(110) for detecting the traverse acceleration of the forklift truck, current measuring units(140,150) for measuring a field current and a rotator current, a memory unit(170) for memorizing the reference current values corresponding to the traverse acceleration of the forklift truck, and a CPU(180). The CPU controls the rotator current supplied to a drive motor to be less than the reference rotator current, and the field current supplied to the drive motor to be more than the reference field current. |
