METHOD FOR SETTING BEARER IN VOIP NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for setting a bearer in VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) network is provided to set a bearer by using an ISUP(ISDN User Part) in a soft switch when connection of a call belonging to the same MGC(Media Gateway Controller) is requested. CONSTITUTION: An originating ISUP of a call reserves setup of a bearer by using an MEGACO(MEdia GAteway COntroller protocol)(S20). A terminating ISUP of the call confirms the reservation for setup of a bearer(S21). The originating ISUP confirms the setup of the bearer(S22). The originating ISUP and the terminating ISUP set up a bearer in both directions(S23).
