PURPOSE: An amorphous object animation method is provided to perform the modeling as a material point-three dimensional spring model, calculate force and torque applied to the material point, integrate the calculated value and obtain a new position and a new posture of the material point, thereby capable of modeling and animating the amorphous object intuitionally by a user. CONSTITUTION: An amorphous object models as a material point-three dimensional spring model and various spring constants are initialized(S10). For calculating expanding force and restoring force, force and torque acting to the material point are initialized(S20). Force and torque acting to the material point are cumulatively calculated(S30). Force and torque are integrated and new position and posture of the material point are calculated(S40). After calculating new position and posture of the material point, the existing values are replaced with the obtained values and updated(S50). |
