PURPOSE: A method and a system for remotely controlling a car using a smart card are provided to set a desired driving environment in a remote place by performing user certification and connecting to a control system of the car through the smart card and a PC or a portable terminal, and offer diverse convenient services by downloading the useful information to the car through the wire/wireless network. CONSTITUTION: A user performs the user certification by inserting the smart card storing personal information and car information into a smart card terminal connected to the PC or the portable terminal. After the user certification, the user remotely controls the car fit to a desired performance/characteristic by directly connecting to the car through the wire/wireless network, and selects the desired service by connecting to a service operation center or various contents malls related to the car on the Internet. |
