摘要 PURPOSE: A fabrication method of an LCD device including a CCF(Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Color Filter) is provided to make a size of a mask open portion for a CCF smaller than a size of a mask open portion of an existing CCF, thereby minimizing a color bleeding phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: The first and second substrates(210,250) where sub pixel areas are defined are faced to each other. An optical absorbable layer(212) is formed on an inner side of the first substrate(210). A CCF(214) is formed in an upper part of the optical absorbable layer(212). Red, green, and blue CCFs(214a,214b,214c) are sequentially arrayed in the CCF(214). A common electrode(216) is deposited on the CCF(214). A gate insulating film(256) is formed in a lower part of the second substrate(250). Data wires(264) are formed on sub pixel area boundaries of the gate insulating film(256). Black matrices(265) are formed in areas that cover the data wires(264). A protective layer(268) is formed on a lower side of the black matrices(265). Pixel electrodes(270) are formed in lower parts of the protective layer(268) in sub pixel units.
