PURPOSE: An LCD device for preventing damage caused by static electricity is provided to thin a line width of an outer portion of a TFT array, to which static electricity is received, and to eradicate the static electricity in the outer portion, thereby preventing damage caused by the static electricity. CONSTITUTION: Data lines(310), common voltage lines(350) crossing the data lines(310), and gate lines(320) are comprised. TFTs are formed on crossed points of the gate lines(320) and the data lines(310) without being formed on crossed points of the common voltage lines(350) and the data lines(310). A semiconductor layer(220) configures channels of the TFTs. When static electricity is received in the data lines(310), the static electricity passes through common voltage line cross portions before entering a substantial screen display area. Width of the data lines(310) in the common voltage line cross portions is formed thinner than other parts, to eradicate the static electricity.
