PURPOSE: Provided is a cinnamic aldehyde-containing composition which has suppressive effect on inducible nitric oxide synthase and pro-inflammatory cytokine. Therefore, the composition is used for the treatment of inflammation caused by increase of nitric oxides and cytokines. CONSTITUTION: A composition having suppressive effect on inducible nitric oxide synthase and pro-inflammatory cytokine is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, 0.001-20 wt.% of cinnamic aldehyde represented by the formula(1), based on the total weight of the composition.
