<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a functional ceramic product using a tree or bamboo powder which can utilize tree or bamboo wastes as a charcoal component in ceramic products such as a multifunctional brick, tile, sauce pan or grill, thereby simplifying the process, saving energy and product cost, and maximizing its functions. The ceramic product can give beneficial effects to human health, and has antibacterial effect, high thermal conductivity, improved durability against freeze and light weight. CONSTITUTION: The functional ceramic product using a tree or bamboo powder is produced by blending 1-60 wt% of a tree powder or chip having a size of 1-7 mm, or a bamboo powder or chip having a size of 1-7 mm as a main functional component, 1-40wt% of a mica or illite powder, 1-40wt% of a kaolin or feldspar powder or chip having a size of less than 5mm, 1-30wt% of a talc powder, 0-40wt% of a serpentine powder, 0-40wt% of a granite stone powder, 1-50wt% of clay; kneading them together; molding the mixture by press or extrusion; cutting the molded product; drying and calcining it at 1100-1350 deg.C for 25-50 hours, wherein the tree or bamboo components are converted to charcoal under non-oxygen atmosphere.</p> |
