PURPOSE: A duplexer including a transmission filter and a reception filter and a communication device are provided to restrain harmonics and form high-surge resistance without increasing the number of components of a communication device. CONSTITUTION: A duplexer includes a transmission filter, a reception filter, and a matching filter. The transmission filter(1) and the reception filter(2) are connected in parallel to an antenna terminal(3). The matching circuit(15) is provided between the antenna terminal and at least one of the transmission filter and the reception filter. A part of the matching circuit configures a trap circuit(14) for harmonic suppression.
