The device has a support unit (70) interposed between a primary piston (40) of a main cylinder (12) and a piston (20) of a pneumatically operated servo-motor. The support unit transfers an axial load between the two pistons while allowing traversal displacement between them. The primary piston receives the thrust load of the piston (20) of the servo-motor connected to a diver by a control rod.
