PURPOSE: A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium battery is provided, to suppress effectively a high temperature swelling property without deterioration of the properties of a battery, thereby improving the high performance of a lithium battery and a set mounting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution comprises 100 parts by weight of an organic solvent mixture which comprises a cyclic carbonate-based organic solvent and a linear carbonate-based organic solvent and contains 0.8-2.0 M lithium salt; and 0.1-10.0 parts by weight of a dibenzofuran or dibenzothiophene derivative represented by the formula 1, wherein X is O or S; and Y and Z are independently H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, allyl or alkenyl group of C1-C12, or a low molecular weight fluorinated alkyl group. Preferably the lithium salt is at least one selected from the group consisting of LiPF6, LiClO4, LiAsF6, LiBF4 and LiN(C2F5SO3)2; the cyclic carbonate-based organic solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate; and the linear carbonate-based organic solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate, methyl propyl carbonate and ethyl propyl carbonate. |
