The absorbent core (10) has a restricted absorption index and a specific low thickness and/or length. A disposible nappy (1) comprises a back sheet (20) with a length (A) and a front sheet and an absorbent core with a length (B), the back sheet comprising two end regions and a central region. The absorbent core is positioned on top of the central region of the back sheet, but not on top of either of the end regions. The absorbent core has an absorption index C/A of less than 0.75, where C is the total absorption capacity of the core. The average thickness of the core is less than 6 mm and/or the ratio B/A is less than 0.8. An Independent claim is also included for a combination of the above nappy with a second nappy comprising a back sheet with a length (A) and a top sheet and an absorbent core with a length (B), the B/A ratio being 0.8 or more, where the second nappy is intended for use after the above (first) nappy. |
