PURPOSE: The use of a cosmetic or dermopharmaceutical composition containing an enzyme which is insoluble in an aqueous medium in admixture with at least one cosmetically or dermopharmaceutically acceptable excipient is provided. The composition is mainly used for limiting reactions of irritation and/or of allergy, obtaining whitening effect, preventing wrinkles, obtaining boundary effects on skin, and removal of excess sebum in oily skin, promoting the treatment of dry skin and the like. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic or dermopharmaceutical composition contains an enzyme which is insoluble in an aqueous medium, in admixture with at least one cosmetically or dermopharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The enzyme selected from the group consisting of lipase, oxidoreductase, carbohydrase and protease is a crystallized and cross-linked enzymes having a size of 0.2 to 50μm or enzymes or particles which are infused with water-insoluble polymers, preferably microparticles or nanoparticles and has a size of 0.2 to 50μm. The excipients are selected from the group consisting of butylene glycol, water, Steares-2, Steares-21, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben and the like.
