PURPOSE: A system for servicing a voice note in a mobile communication network and a method therefor are provided to enable an ARS server to additionally transmit a message having a voice note character string that is distinguished from a general SMS text message, so that a user can easily recognize a voice note service and a general SMS text service. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station)(10) writes a voice note message, transceives the voice note message while occupying a speech channel, distinguishes the voice note message from a general SMS text message, and displays/stores the distinguished voice note message. An SMC(Short Message Center)(40) receives a request for a voice note service from the MS(10), processes the request, and supplies voice note message information. An ARS server(50) stores a voice recorded by the MS(10), adds a voice note character string distinguished from the general SMS text message to the voice note message information, and supplies the recorded voice by responding to the voice note message. An MSC(30) connects the MS(10) with the SMC(40) or the ARS server(50), and generates the speech channel to perform the voice note service. |
