PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring a position of a wave source are provided to measure the position of the wave source by using waves received from the wave source. CONSTITUTION: An arrangement information input process is performed to input the arrangement information about plural receiving transducers(100). A distance difference between the wave source and the receiving transducers is calculated by using phases, time differences, and speeds of the received waves of the receiving transducers(200,300,400). The position of the wave source is calculated by using the distance difference and the arrangement information(500,600).
