PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing white powder on deflector roll in bright annealing furnace is provided to increase facility operating ratio and improve productivity by cleaning the deflector roll in the state that facility is operated without stop, thereby removing white powder stuck to the surface of the deflector roll. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a removing part comprising a hopper shaped case(10) which is longitudinally laid down on an upper part of the deflector roll(106) in an upper part of the bright annealing furnace, and a lower part of which is opened; an unwinding shaft(11) installed longitudinally and rotationally at the lower center of an inner side of the case; a cleaning cloth(12) wound around the unwinding shaft to remove white powder adhered to the surface of the deflector roll and strip; a winding shaft(13) installed longitudinally at the upper center of the inner side of the case to wind cleaning cloth being unwound from the unwinding shaft; and a driving means installed at an outer side of the case to rotationally operate the winding shaft so that the removing part removes white powder adhered to the surface of the deflector roll and the strip, wherein the apparatus further comprises a driving part comprising driving shaft(20), rotational sprocket wheels(21), operating motor(22), chain wire and weight(24) so that the driving part selectively closely adhere the removing part to the surface of the deflector roll, and wherein the apparatus further comprises a collecting and treating part comprising bracket(30), magnet member(31) and suction pipe(32) so that the collecting and treating part discharges the white powder removed by the removing part to the outside of the bright annealing furnace.
