DEVICE FOR PROCESSING RESERVED CALL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for processing a reserved call in a mobile communication system and a method therefor are provided to enable a BS(Base Station) to inform an MS(Mobile Station) of a reserved call without clearing a resource assigned to the MS, if the MS completes the reserved call by mistake, thereby minimizing time and resources requested for a re-calling procedure. CONSTITUTION: An MS transmits a release order message to a BS(202). The BS transmits a clear request message to an MSC(203), to start a call clear processing procedure. The MSC transmits a clear reject message to the BS(209). The MS receives an alert message(210), and stops a timer. The MS transmits an MS ACK(Acknowledgement) order message to the BS through a reverse traffic channel(211). The MS transmits a connect order message to the BS(212). The BS transmits a BS ACK order message to the MS through a forward traffic channel(213), and approves a connect order. The BS transmits a connect message to the MSC(214), and informs the MSC that the MS responds to a reserved call.
