PURPOSE: A trim apparatus is provided to prolong the replacement cycle of a post and bush by improving the material for the post and bush. CONSTITUTION: A trim apparatus(100) is used for removing dam bars and a flash between the dam bars. The trim apparatus includes a lower mold(10) for loading a lead frame(30). At this time, the lower mold has a drawing hole(12) corresponding to the dam bar and flash, and a bush(14) installed at the peripheral portion of the drawing hole. The trim apparatus further includes an upper mold(20) installed on the lower mold. The upper mold has a punch(22) installed at the predetermined portion corresponding to the dam bar and flash, and a post(24) inserted into the bush for guiding the upper mold to the lower mold. Preferably, the bush and post are made of D2 based hard metal.
