PURPOSE: A dehydration hole forming method of a dehydrating tub for a washing machine is provided to minimize damage of the laundry in drawing the laundry out of the dehydrating tub by forming the dehydration hole with the smooth blade end with punching once in boring basic holes in base metal, and to reduce manufacturing cost by simplifying the process. CONSTITUTION: A dehydrating tub plate(28) is formed by boring 3-3.5 mm basic holes(29) in a 0.4 -0.6 mm metal sheet, and dehydration holes(30) are formed by bending the basic holes in mounting the dehydrating tub plate on the upper part of a punching die(25) and arranging the basic hole concentrically in the upper part of a punching groove(26) having 7-10 mm in diameter and 0.7-0.9 mm in depth. The dehydration hole is formed by pressing and contacting a forming punch(20) including a body part(21), an inclination surface(23) and a punching surface(24) to the center of the punching groove. The dehydrating tub plate is mounted, and the dehydration holes are formed around a processing hole(27) having 2-2.5 mm in diameter in the center of the punching groove.
