摘要 he stemming machines remove the stems from raisins without damaging them. Raisins are so sensitive that bad handling could easily destroy them. Consequently, the correct adjustment of the stemming machine proves to be important for getting the bestpossible result as to the removal of stems and the fruit protection. The hitherto stemming machines are either able to adjust some parameters of the stemming machine manually, or unable to adjust any parameters at all. Said invention accomplishes the remote adjustment of two basic parameters, namely the adjustment of the rotation speed of the shaft with the knives and the distance of the gap between knives and mesh. The first adjustment is obtained with the help of an inverter adapted to the electromotor (positioned at the place 7) of the shaft 1 bearing the knives 2 and with a pair of pulleys (fig.3-8,9) operable with synchronized belt (encountered in position 7 of the fig. 1 &2). The second adjustment is obtained with the assistance of asmall threaded shaft 13 displacing the main shaft 1 forwards and backwards. The motion is derived from an electromotor positioned at the place 14 of the fig. 4 while a pulse generator located at the position 15 measures the displacement of the shaft(fig. 1,2,3,4), synchronically.
