PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation lever capable of solving problems that, since ether of brake lever adjustable in position described in the patent literatures 1 and 2 rotates round a fulcrum, the angle between the handle grip and the operation lever varies when the operation lever is turned and it is difficul to judge whether the brake is applied in good performance, and the number of component parts is large to lead to a complicated structure and a high manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The operation lever 10 is furnished with a cable holder 11, an operation lever part 12 whose base end face 12A abuts on the outer end face 11A of the cable holder 11, and a link 13 to couple the lever part 12 with the cable holder 11 in such a way as movable in the direction fore and aft, wherein two position adjusting recesses 11E are provided in the front and the rear of the outer end face 11A while the base end face 12A is furnished with a projection 12B to fit in either of the recesses 11E, and a leaf spring 15 to give a pressure to between the recess 11E and the projection 12B is installed between the outer end face 11A and the base end face 12A. The operation lever obtained enables maintaining stable operating performance at all times irrespective of the size of operator's hand, manufacturing with a very simple structure at a low cost, and making anyone able to perform the position adjustment very simply and quickly.
