PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-extrusion manufacturing method for a metallic tube, by which the generation of both of outer surface defects, a deep wrinkle and an outer surface streak, is suppressed so that the cost for removing the defects is reduced and the yield of a material is improved, and which is suitable for extruding a ferritic stainless steel tube and a two-phase stainless tube. SOLUTION: In the hot-extrusion manufacturing method for a metallic tube, a front lubricant consisting of high-viscosity glass, whose viscosity is≥10<SP>3</SP>poise in the temperature range of the extrusion, and an outer surface lubricant consisting of low-viscosity glass, whose viscosity is≤10 poise, are used.
