PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal having no position information capable of estimating its own position even underground or indoor or the like where no GPS is available as long as there is another terminal having position information in the neighborhood. SOLUTION: A plurality of terminals are placed with an interval at which adjacent terminals can make communication with each other, positional information in terms of XY coordinates is provided to three surrounding terminals, no positional information is provided to the other terminals, each of the terminals having no positional information makes communication with adjacent terminals, finally collects positional information in terms of a distance from the terminals having the positional information, a terminal desiring to obtain the positional information in terms of the XY coordinates selects a plurality of terminals with a distance smallest among distances from three terminals around the terminal, particularizes a coincident terminal among terminals with a smallest distance from each of the surrounding terminals having the positional information as its own terminal, adds '1' to the smallest distance to obtain the distance of its own terminal, obtains the XY coordinate positions of its own terminal by calculation on the basis of a relative position of its own terminal particularized from the terminals at absolute positions having the XY coordinates and estimates the result as positional information of its own terminal.
