PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein noises occur when switching signal lines in a decoding circuit. SOLUTION: A first generation section 14 supplies, in a predetermined timing, a vertical side original decoding signal 20 having the prescribed number of bits to a vertical side drive circuit 18. The vertical side drive circuit 18 is provided with, in its inside, a decoding circuit in which transistors are arranged in series, and controls the transistors by the vertical side decoding original signal 20. The first generation section 14 successively outputs, to the vertical side drive circuit 18, the vertical side original decoding signal 20 which is different in a value in one bit from the immediately preceding vertical side original decoding signal 20. Thus, the noises which occur with the operation of the transistors can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
