PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning-over-page feeling for a user of a display device and to surely let the user confirm display data. SOLUTION: When an instruction to the effect that a plurality of display data are to be successively displayed is received, the plurality of display data are obtained. Also, a ratio of concentration of one display data to that of the next display data which is to be displayed after the one display data is renewed to be lower as time elapses after the display of the next display data starts. Then, on the basis of the renewed ratio of concentration, synthesized display data in which one display data is superposed on the next display data is successively formed and displayed. Then, after the ratio of concentration reaches nearly zero, the next display data is made new one display data, while display data after the next is made the new next display data.
