<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device for safely guiding a visually challenging person or a healthy person in his walking even in a place not previously provided with any marker such as textured paving blocks. <P>SOLUTION: When a wheel part pushed to move forward by a user is steered through a rotating wheel by a servo motor 4 operated according to an electric signal outputted by a device control part 5, the wheel part is turned and its behavior is transmitted through a sliding part 2 to a grip part 19 of a held pole 1, so that the user can detect the steering of the wheel part and walk following the wheel part to be guided. That is, steering of the concerned rotating wheel of the wheel part pushed by the user is controlled and operated to guide the user holding the pole 1 and walking closely behind the wheel part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
