<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting arm assembly to be used when holding a lid of a safe which is sturdy and easily opened, has compact, simple components and can be used when holding the easily assembled lid to its open position. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting arm 1 has a bracket 5 connected to a base 4 of the safe and a linear supporting arm 6 for connecting the bracket to the lid 3; the bracket is connected to the inner side 4A of the base of the safe, and a linear slot 7 is formed which is parallel to the side of the safe; the linear supporting arm has a flat, planar shape as a whole which can be arranged through the linear slot of the bracket; the supporting arm is slidable inside a slot in parallel to the side of the safe and the side surface 5A of the bracket; also, a notch 9 having an acute end edge is formed in adjacent to a bent portion at the bottom end of the linear support arm; and the notch can be mutually linked together with the slot by the falling of the lid to the inside of the slot when the lid of a box is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
