<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater superior in installation workability by effectively utilizing a limited installation space. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater is formed by arranging a clean water cartridge 11 being a water quality purifying means for purifying tap water supplied from a tap water pipe 1 in the middle of a passage up to a heating vessel 5 from a feed valve 9 in a water supply passage, and simultaneously houses the feed valve 9 and the clean water cartridge 11 in a case 12 independent of a heating unit body 4. Thus, the heating unit body 4 can be miniaturized by the extent having no clean water cartridge 11, and a limited space can be effectively utilized. Since and installing element is integrated into two members of a heating unit body 4 part and a unit including the clean water cartridge 11 and the feed valve 9, installation work such as piping/wiring is also easily performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
