PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image adjustment method for selecting the quality of an image in the same way as the image quality of an image to be developed is selected through the selection of a film in silver-salt photography, an image input apparatus such as a digital still camera and an image forming apparatus capable of implementing the method, and a computer program that is read into a computer to realize the method. SOLUTION: A RAM 12-1 stores a plurality of parameter groups each including a plurality of parameters for image processing applied to an image, a reception section 17 receives an instruction to select a required parameter group from a plurality of the parameter groups, and image processing is applied to the image on the basis of the parameters included in the received parameter group to adjust the image quality.
