PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator cooling type superconducting magnet device capable of effectively materializing an operation of a permanent current mode without causing an attenuation of a permanent current. SOLUTION: The cooling type superconducting magnet device cools by a refrigeration stage cooled by a refrigerator and also drives a superconducting coil in the permanent current mode by supplying an excitation current through an exciting current lead line by an excitation voltage source. The superconducting magnet device comprises a permanent current switch lead line which forms a closed loop for driving the permanent current mode by connecting a permanent current switch installed through a support for preventing a heat conduction on a cooling stage, a switching superconductor which is mounted in the permanent current switch, for changing over an on/off state of the permanent current mode, and the lead line of the superconducting coil; and a conduction cooling member which is mounted on the cooling stage, for the heat conduction from the refrigerator. The exciting current lead line and the permanent current switch lead line come into thermal contact with the conduction cooling member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
