PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a moving amount of an optical component and to make an optical device thin. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 which is an optical switch body is provided with a recess 4, a movable stage 5 and optical fibers 2a to 2d, the end of which is directed toward the movable stage 5. The movable stage 5 is composed of a flat plane part 5a located in the recess 4 and a beam part 5b having a spring function which connects the flat plane part 5a to the inner peripheral plane of the recess 4, and the flat plane part 5a is provided with a mirror 6 and a magnetic material 7. An electromagnet 3 is fitted to the side of the substrate 1. In an initial state, an optical path extending from optical fibers 2a to 2b, and an optical path extending from optical fibers 2c to 2d are formed by the reflection of the mirror 6 located at the center of the optical fibers 2a to 2d. When the movable stage 5 moves by being driven by the magnetic force of the electromagnet 3, the mirror 6 is retracted to the outside of the optical path, the optical path extending from the optical fibers 2a to 2d and the optical path extending from the optical fibers 2c to 2b are formed.
