PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a shutter having high reliability. SOLUTION: Stopper means 7 are installed to piece bodies 4 with engaging sections 4a coinciding with bottom stripes 1a formed on the rear of a slat curtain 1. The piece bodies 4 are composed of metal block bodies having cross sections coinciding with spaces formed in openings among the rear of the slat curtain 1 and guide posts 2, and the stopper means 7 are composed of engaging pieces 5 formed to the piece bodies 4 and engaging sections 6 formed to the guide posts 2.
