OPERATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SLUICE OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control system for a sluice opening and closing device capable of opening and closing the sluice opening and closing device provided with a self-weight descent type gate at a high speed and allowing one operator to remote-control a plurality of sluices in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The gate connected with a rack bar is lowered by its self-weight while controlling its speed by a centrifugal brake (step S4), and descent due to self-weight of the gate is stopped in the vicinity of a section where the sluice is fully closed (step S5). Then, operation is switched to electric operation by an electric motor (step S6), and the gate is lowered until it is fully closed by reducing descent speed of the gate down to the lower speed than self-weight descent speed (step S7). In this operation control system, the sluice can be opened and closed at the high speed and one operator can remote-control a plurality of sluices. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
