PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container for a solid matter, which can be used in upright, inverted, and hanging state, and is swingable when in the inverted state. SOLUTION: The storing container for a solid content (a) comprises a container A and a cover B. The container A has a container body 1, a holding cylinder 5 formed on the container body 1, and a content support 2 having a cylinder 11 fitted into the holding cylinder 5 as the upper and lower positions of the cylinder 11 are adjusted freely. The cover B has a globular top plate 16, and a locking lever 17 formed vertically downward on the center of the top plate 16 to be connected to the top wall of the cylinder 11 of the support 2.
