SOLUTION: Target operation amounts D<SP>*</SP>utyf and D<SP>*</SP>utyr of front and rear wheel brake systems for making front and rear wheel hydraulic pressures Pwcf and Pwcr coincide with targets P<SP>*</SP>wcf and P<SP>*</SP>wcr are calculated. D<SP>*</SP>utyf is distributed to a front wheel pressure reducing valve operation amount Dutyvalf and a pressure increasing pump operation amount Dutymotf by a distributor 42F, and D<SP>*</SP>utyr is distributed to a rear wheel pressure reducing valve operation amount Dutyvalr and a pressure increasing pump operation amount Dutymotr by a distributor 42R. A larger one between Dutymotf and Dutymotr is made to be a motor operation amount Dutymot by a means 43. Front and rear wheel pressure reducing valve operation amount commands D'utyvalf and D'utyvalr are calculated from Dutyvalf and Dutyvalr with the usage of flow rate models 45F and 45R and reverse models 46F and 46R.
